Being born and raised on a large thoroughbred breeding operation, I was taught from a very young age how to deliver a foal. Prior to immigration, our last breeding season saw 250 foals delivered on the farm. As a result of being a vet nurse in some of the worlds largest equine hospitals, I have been involved with many emergency foalings, which have allowed me to assess complications efficiently and act as required.
