Equine Digital Solutions

was established by Alexis in late 2024, in response to the recurring concerns expressed by equine business owners regarding the significant amount of time spent on administrative tasks. From managing client relations and horse records to handling registrations, ownership transfers, and more, these responsibilities often consume valuable time that could be better spent elsewhere.

Following the successful launch of EDS, Equine Mobile Solutions (EMS) was created with a focus on supporting remote and rural horse owners.

Alexis was born and raised on a Thoroughbred Stud in South Africa, owned by her parents. Their farm covered all facets of a horse's life from being born, Sales prep, Pre-Training, Racing, Breeding and Rehab. They also milled their own feed, grew their own hay, and stood stallions. The last season they were on the farm they stood 5 stallions and foaled 250 foals. Alexis was just around 10 years old she led her first mare through the sales ring.

In 2010, as a family they immigrated to New Zealand where she finished high school, and studied Vet Nursing. Through this time Alexis helped her parents on the farms they were working on. In 2012, Alexis worked at her first Karaka Sale, 2013 saw her first season at Scone Equine Hospital, and went back for two more seasons as an ICU Nurse.

Since 2013, Alexis has focused her career on learning from the best people around the world with the Thoroughbred industry, working on various studs, at sales, and equine hospitals. Not only in Australasia, but also around Europe and in Kentucky, USA. These years have allowed her to work for and with some important influences within the industry such as Taylor Made in USA, Baker McVeigh and Clements, and William Haggas in Newmarket, UK. Centro Equiano Arcadia, Italy.

Over a span of about 4 and a half years Alexis specifically worked back to back Northern and Southern hemispheres, swapping between Nursing, Sales and Stud work depending on where each adventure took her. By doing this it allowed her to be exposed to all areas within the industry, horse and human. The good the bad and the ugly.

Despite her biggest passion being Vet Nursing, She’s developed a big love and enjoyment out of helping the small time guy within the industry. Client relations, education within various areas of the industry, and mostly event management.

Despite holding almost 100% experience within the Thoroughbred Industry, Alexis has also dabbled in Polo, Standardbreds, Equestrian, and has a particular enjoyment for Western Disciplines. Alexis curated Equine Digital Solutions, to help within any area someone might need aid, no matter how big or small it might seem to you, She wants to help. If there's something she can't do, she has met so many wonderful people along the way who she can ask to help!
